Migrants sent back
Guatemala City: Guatemalan authorities have sent more than 3000 Honduran migrants back home over the past few days, dissolving much of a caravan heading north and blaming Honduras for not doing more to block the migrants’ path.
Thousands of caravan members had crossed into Guatemala from Honduras without authorisation last Thursday, pushing past troops at the border.
Since then, 3586 had ‘‘opted to return’’, the Government said.
