Appeal to assist Mrs Mee

It has been decided to recognise in a tangible form the services as matron of the Benevolent Institution of Mrs Mee, who for over 30 years has devotedly cared for the old men and women, many of whom were in the infirmary

wards under her charge for years. The homeless children were also under the care of Mrs Mee, who attended to their upbringing in a most praiseworthy manner. Owing to failing health she is compelled to relinquish her position, and it is hoped to raise a sum of money to provide Mrs Mee and her husband, who is an invalid, with some necessary comforts.
