Blue Mountain College

The Blue Mountain College netball development team attended the year 910 netball tournament in Dunedin last month.

The team was in the mixed grade and had a very successful tournament, meeting Gore High School in the final and ending up runnerup in its grade. Neeve Kean and Anahera Takotahiwi made the talent ID list.

Year 12 pupil Joe Robertson was part of the Tapanui Junior pennant team that won the Otago pennant finals in Queenstown on October 11.

Year 13 pupil Paige McIvor was selected in the Otago Maori senior wahine team which played in Christchurch in the Te Waipounamu Maori Rugby Festival and ended up in second place.
