Truce seems shaky

Baku/Yere­van: Ar­me­nia and Azer­bai­jan ac­cused each other yes­ter­day of vi­o­lat­ing a new cease­fire in fight­ing over the moun­tain en­clave of Nagorno­Karabakh.

The third truce in just over two weeks came into force at 5pm (NZ time) and within min­utes, Azer­bai­jan’s de­fence min­istry said Ar­me­nian forces had shelled vil­lages in the Terter and Lachin re­gions.

The Nagorno­Karabakh de­fence min­istry de­nied it. — Reuters
