Ten­nis: New Zealan­der Michael Venus and Aus­tralian play­ing part­ner John Peers have cap­tured their third ATP dou­bles ti­tle of the year.

The sec­ond seeds beat In­dian Ro­han Bopanna and Dutch­man Matwe Mid­delkoop 6­3, 6­4 yes­ter­day to win the An­twerp Open.

It’s Venus’ 13th ATP dou­bles ti­tle and his third with Peers this year fol­low­ing their wins at the ATP 500 tour­na­ments in Dubai and Ham­burg. — RNZ

Ko fin­ished in a share of eighth place at this week’s tour­na­ment in Ge­or­gia af­ter clos­ing with a 3­un­der 69 yes­ter­day. She’s fin­ished 10­un­der for the tour­na­ment, six shots be­hind win­ner Amer­i­can Ally Mc­Don­ald.

New Zealan­der Danny Lee fired a 3­un­der 72 in the Zozo Cham­pi­onship in Cal­i­for­nia yes­ter­day for a 1­un­der to­tal of 287, 22 shots be­hind win­ner Amer­i­can Pa­trick Cant­lay. — RNZ held this year af­ter Ken­tucky, Bad­minton, Luh­muhlen, Burgh­ley and Ade­laide were can­celled due to the Covid pan­demic.

Price went clear in the showjump­ing with 0.8 time penal­ties on 17­year­old cam­paigner Wesko. Price was also 13th on Xavier Faer and 14th on Ring­wood Sky Boy while his wife, Jonelle Price, was 12th aboard Grovine de Reve. — RNZ
