Domestic help shortage at resorts
Lack of adequate domestic help is interfering with accommodation arrangements at various holiday resorts in New Zealand. In Hanmer this shortage is acute. According to the Government Tourist agent, several boarding houses are not able to cater for very much more than half the usual number of summer guests, and booking is restricted in consequence. — ODT, 30.10.1920.
