Crash on SH6

Queenstown: Police are investigating the cause of a crash on State Highway 6 at the Hawthorne Dr roundabout at 10.30am on Tuesday.

Senior Sergeant Steve Watt said a 78yearold woman attempted to turn left from the roundabout on to Hawthorne Dr from the righthand lane and crossed in front of another car, driven by a pregnant 24yearold who also had her 11monthold son in the car.

There was minor damage to both vehicles, but noone was injured.
