Museum launches online shop

THE Otago Museum has launched an online shop, which is the only one of its kind in the country, apart from Te Papa’s.

In a recent report, museum director Dr Ian Griffin said the shop was launched last month, with 350 products.

It was a collaboration between the museum’s marketing and design groups, and had been led by the museum shop’s team, Dr Griffin said.

‘‘We foresee that with the right marketing support that sales will build and this will be an excellent source of revenue in the future.’’
