Luggate crash fatality

A PERSON died following a serious car crash near Luggate last night.

A police spokeswoman said emergency services were called to Luggate Tarras Rd, between Jolly Rd and Bells Lane, about 8.35pm, where a car had rolled.

‘‘One person, the sole occupant of the vehicle, has died following the crash.’’

No other vehicles were involved in the incident.

She said traffic management would remain in place overnight.
