Busy fishing season opening

Over 50 motor launches and other small craft were engaged on fishing excursions at Rotorua for the opening of the trout fishing season.

The fish are reported to be in excellent condition, and plentiful. A party of four men caught 171 fish the first day, and another party 40. The largest fish turned the scale at 6lb. — ODT, 13.11.1920.
