Trampers rescued
Napier: Rescuers have found four trampers who landed in trouble in an area of rugged North Island bushland.
All four were been flown to
Palmerston North Hospital after the rescue operation yesterday afternoon.
The Hawke’s Bay Rescue Helicopter flew to the Ruahine Ranges after a personal locator beacon was activated about 1pm yesterday.
The Rescue Coordination Centre New Zealand was coordinating the response. — The New Zealand Herald
