Quake toll worsens

Jakarta: The death toll from a 6.2magnitude earthquake that shook Indonesia’s West Sulawesi province last week has risen to 91, the national disaster management agency says.

More than 1100 people were injured in Saturday’s earthquake, 253 of them seriously, and three were still missing, agency spokesman Raditya Jati said.

All fatalities were in the worsthit districts of Mamuju and Majene, he said. — DPA
