Residents are urged to have their say on the draft Papakura Local Board Plan. Issues the community have identified as important help the board focus on projects over the next three years. Creating a vibrant town centre, helping people live healthy lifestyles, a strong local economy, environmen­t and heritage are among issues the local board has identified. Submission­s on the draft Papakura Local Board Plan open May 22 and close June 30. Tuesday, June 13, from 10am to 12pm, outside Takanini Countdown, 288 Great South Road. Saturday, June 24, from 9.30am to11.30am, Drury Town Centre, 232 Great South Road.
