FROM THE EDITOR
Kia ora koutou, We’ve got a great range of stories in this week’s issue. On page 3, you can read about the fantastic work of the Well Women facilitators helping mothers with postnatal depression. On the same page we bid farewell to Fabricland. On page 5, you can learn more about a wonderful initiative aimed at keeping kids warm over winter and make sure you read Ben Ross’ latest column on page 7. In other news, this will be my last week as the editor of the Papakura Courier. From next week, the Eastern Courier’s current news director Phil Taylor will also be editing this publication. Can I just say what a privilege it has been editing this paper over the last 12 months and can I give a special thanks to our many readers for engaging with us over this period. I also want to acknowledge our reporter Nigel Moffiet, who works tirelessly to cover this area, and who will continue to do so, but based from a new office. Thank you for readership and I trust you’ll continue to enjoy this fine publication under Phil’s leadership.
Nga mihi, Justin
