Taco time Friday, 7pm We’ll usually go out for dinner to save on cooking. Our current favourite is Ain’t No Taco, which has recently opened and has a wall of hot sauce to choose from. 187 Symonds St, Eden Terrace

A peaceful start Saturday, 9.30am I’ll start with a yoga class at The Ivy Studio with Nirmala Wellbeing. We all head for a coffee and a catch-up downstairs at Mondays Wholefoods after class for a relaxing start to the day. 503 New North Rd, Kingsland

Crafting Saturday, 1pm I sometimes spend the afternoon making things and for that you need good supplies. I ride my bike to Draper’s Fabrics, The Fabric Store, and Geoff’s Emporium – it’s great for sewing supplies. 394 Khyber Pass Rd, Newmarket; 139 Newton Rd, Eden Terrace; 274 Dominion Rd, Mt Eden

Sunday brunch Sunday, 9am If I haven’t slept in, I’m having brunch at one of our great local cafes within an easy bike-riding distance – Petit Bocal or Ralph’s. Ralph’s also does a great cheeseburger for lunch or dinner. 177 Sandringham Rd, Sandringham; 225B Dominion Rd, Mt Eden Vege mission Sunday, 12pm Another bike ride, to La Cigale Market. It’s a great place to stock up on fresh veges. 69 St Georges Bay Rd, Parnell

Sunday sport Sunday, 3pm My husband plays football at St Lukes Indoor Sports every Sunday afternoon. I like to go around the corner to Crave cafe to grab a coffee and a cheese scone before spectating. 6 Morningside Drv, Morningside
