Cel­e­brate the Mel­bourne Cup in style at this ne-din­ing fash­ion col­lab

Fash­ion de­signer Trelise Cooper and SKYCITY are bring­ing the best of fash­ion and food to­gether this month for New Zealand’s long­est run­way show on Fed­eral Street. The event, set across five SKYCITY restau­rants: Huami, Gusto at the Grand, MASU by Nic Watt, The Grill by Sean Con­nolly and The Su­gar Club, will of­fer a long lunch or four-course din­ner, ad­mis­sion to the Trelise Cooper run­way show, and the live screen­ing of the Mel­bourne Cup race.

At more than 400 me­tres long, the run­way loops through the five restau­rants, fin­ish­ing at The Su­gar Club. Mod­els will wear gar­ments from the Trelise Cooper and Cooper SpringSum­mer 2018 col­lec­tions – with a fo­cus on event and race-day wear.

For those es­cap­ing work early, lunch be­gins at 12.30pm with the first of three run­way shows start­ing at 2pm. For those stuck at the of­fice, The Su­gar Club event starts at 4pm in time to catch the Mel­bourne Cup race, fol­lowed by a four-course de­gus­ta­tion din­ner.

Guests should dress to im­press with the ‘best dressed’ from each res­tau­rant win­ning a night’s stay at SKYCITY Grand Ho­tel.
