Garden to garment

A myriad of textiles from Ovna Ovich

Paper Boy - - Style -

The latest collection from Ovna Ovich by New Zealand designer Marina Davis, ‘Chapter Eight Once Was’, is full of clean, confident silhouettes and impeccable tailoring, made from carefully chosen textiles including cotton, crepe and silk. Davis favours linen in this range, and its appearance throughout the collection in various textures is testament to its versatility – it’s seen in long dresses, the Telo top (pictured above, $295) and lightweight pants. Davis says her spring-summer 17/18 collection celebrates the garden-to-garment journey of the plant-based fibres used exclusively throughout.
