Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease and line two medium-sized loaf tins.
Dissolve all ingredients together in a saucepan and cook for about 5 minutes. Set aside till ready to serve.
Pop all ingredients in a bowl and combine really well. You want to be able to taste every ingredient in your loaf with every bite. Divide evenly between your two tins. Cover with foil and bake for 40 mins. Remove from oven and pour off any nasty juices.
Pour the sauce over the loaves and return to the oven and cook for a further 20 minutes, this time uncovered.
Pop one fat clove of garlic in with your potatoes, cook as usual, drain, mash (with butter and a little milk), season and serve.
Serve the meatloaf with lashings of garlic mash.
