It’s not all about the kids

Parenting - - Time Out -

It’s not good for any child, and it certainly is not good for us if we make our children the centre of the universe. The happiest families, with the most secure children, are the ones where the parents nurture themselves and their love relationship. Regular accounting principles do not apply to love. Take love from your partner and spend it on your children and you will run out of love-energy really fast. But spend it on your spouse and you will find there is always enough love leftover for the rest of the family.
