I just wanted to say thank you for the Red Plate. We have three boys and have just moved from Auckland to the Wairarapa. We love the Red Plate idea and finally bought a plate here! Our baby boy just turned one, so it was great for our five and three year old to celebrate their little brother and be introduced to the awesome Red Plate idea of celebrating each other's achievements!

We continue to get your magazine subscription and it's a regular gift idea for friends with kids or friends who have just had a baby. We love how the articles tackle various ages and stages of parenting and childhood, and are 'nutrient dense' to the mind and heart of parenting. Keep up the great work, guys – you are making such a positive impact on the future of our awesome Kiwi nation! Joanne Twiggens

We have a great tradition at Christmas that started when the kids were little. I used to make them all matching PJS, wrap them up, and my husband, Michael, would hide them (in age-appropriate hiding places, of course). Once all the PJS were found, the kids would put them on, we'd take a photo of them under the Christmas tree and then read the Christmas story before bed. In the morning, they all looked so cute in their new PJS. This tradition has continued and even now at 23, 22, 20 and 18 the kids all plan to be home for Christmas Eve dinner and the PJ hunt!
