.I shut down the wifi in the evening. Teens run out of data quick so it means they have to find something else to do apart from being on their devices.
.When we're at the dinner table or having a catch up, our phones are away – we stay fully present in the conversation, even if our phones are going off!
.I get the boys to read physical books for at least 22 minutes a day – the average length of an episode of one of their favourite TV shows.
.Having a conversation with your kids about cyberbullying is the best way to give them support. Let them know you're there for them and will do what you can to help them out.
.Keep up to date with technology – get to know what your kids are using and doing online. It means you can actually talk to them about it all.
