An integral part of Morrinsville Intermediate School`s values, specifically whakawhanaungatanga, is to engage with families and the wider community.
The school’s annual gala does just this.
With a focus on enjoying quality time with the school’s children, the Morrinsville Intermediate Gala has been changed to a Twilight Gala, from 4.30pm until 8.30pm on Friday November 18.
The Intermediate grounds will become a carnival of events.
Families, with children of all ages are encouraged to go along and enjoy the festivities.
Activities like the chair-o-loop and tug-o-war will be stationed alongside new events.
Entertainment from Morrinsville Intermediate students will add ambience as you sit and enjoy the delicacies on offer.
Pulled pork rolls, butter chicken, nachos, waffles and hot chips are just some of the foods available.
Funds raised will go towards installing heat pumps for the classrooms to ensure the physical environments are conducive to learning in both summer and winter.
