Registrations open for games day
Registrations are now open for a youth-focussed, family-friendly, Whanau Games Day on Saturday October 14 at the Morrinsville College grounds.
Similar to the old ‘top-town’ style events, the day will include a range of competitive activities with teams earning points to claim the top prize.
The event is free to attend and lunch is provided for participants. Pre-registration is essential. Entries close 4pm Friday September 29 and spaces are limited to 16 teams.
Registration forms are available from Morrinsville Community House, Morrinsville Museum, or the Ngati Haua Iwi Trust.
Teams can include up to eight participants. All ages are welcome. Activities vary and are suitable for all abilities, from toddlers to grandparents, and everyone inbetween.
The event is organised by He Herenga Tangata, a collaborative group of local organisations including social service agencies, community groups and police.
