Real Estate Outlook - - Location -

Facing southwest toward Auckland, Arkles Bay is situated below the ridge on which the Whangaparaoa Town Centre, Pacific Plaza, is located. This is an attractive beach which is popular during summer. After winding your way down the cliff to Arkles Bay you’ll find a flat area of land that has been developed with a mix of holiday homes and permanent residences. The greater area of Arkles Bay has now been extended out the southwest to include new hillside suburbs. In fact Arkles Bay is one of the fastest growing parts of the Hibiscus Coast. There are more than 2500 people living in the area. This number is set to raise due to the high number of subdivisions and housing developments taking place in the area. Around the corner from Arkles Bay is Weiti River and Okura River Estuary. The Weiti River serves as a useful mooring area for leisure craft, and has its own boating club, and a jetty for line fishing. Arkles Bay has fantastic sea views including Rangitoto Island framed by beautiful mature pohutukawa and norfolk pines. It has a safe swimming beach and a boat ramp 50 metres away. Shopping, cinemas and restaurants are a five-minute drive. A golf course and the Gulf Harbour marina are 10 minutes away where ferries leave for Auckland.
