If you’re losing your fruit crops to birds but netting is not an option, try the old trick of hanging CDS in your trees. If you no longer have any, you can buy them for next to nothing at op shops.

Walk around the garden with secateurs and trim off any annoying growth that’s growing out over paths and gateways.
