OWHANGO ALIVE IN ACTION
Owhango Alive celebrated the Whakapapa River - home to the endangered Whio (blue duck) to mark, World Rivers Day.
About 40 volunteers planted 200 native trees at Ohinetonga Reserve.
Guest speaker Nick Singers, a freelance Ecologist and Conservation Entrepreneur stressed the importance of keeping data to monitor conservation efforts.
