Technological advances mean you can now have seamless melamine doors with no ugly glue lines! Laseredge is a new edgebanding technique from Sage Doors, in which the edge tape is melted directly onto the board, eliminating the need for adhesives. The use of next generation edging – polypropylene – in this process has additional advantages: it is more environmentally friendly than PVC or ABS, shrinks less, is more resistant to household chemicals, and – most importantly – is very colourfast. The end result is a superior-looking, more durable product that won’t peel or fade over time. Ask your cabinetmaker for Sage Laseredge.
