More stalls than ever be­fore at Geral­dine Sum­mer Fete.

‘‘We just come across a lot of re­ally good stalls, and we only have a cer­tain amount of space. It’s hard for us, we can only fit so many in,’’ Macken­zie said.

Macken­zie said she en­joyed run­ning the event, as it gave her the chance to met new peo­ple as they tried to book a spot.

‘‘There’s lots of cre­ative peo­ple out there.’’

Each year event or­gan­is­ers tried to get in fresh new musical tal­ent in to en­ter­tain, and this year will see lo­cal mu­si­cians, in­clud­ing Zoe Scott, Holly Kim­ber and The Drama Queens, per­form through­out the day.

The event was held on a Thurs­day to en­cour­age mums and daugh­ters and friends to get to­gether and at­tend the event.

‘‘Like a girl’s day out ... get a car load of girls, come down and en­joy the day.’’

Macken­zie was ex­pect­ing about 2500 peo­ple to at­tend.

‘‘It’s a great day out for peo­ple, just to come and en­joy the live mu­sic.’’ The fete will run be­tween 9.30am and 4pm on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 2.

The fete will be held at Stover Farm, 220 Main North Rd, Geral­dine.

Tick­ets are $15 per per­son, while chil­dren un­der the age of 15 can en­ter for free.
