Geraldine Summer Fete
More stalls than ever before at Geraldine Summer Fete.
‘‘We just come across a lot of really good stalls, and we only have a certain amount of space. It’s hard for us, we can only fit so many in,’’ Mackenzie said.
Mackenzie said she enjoyed running the event, as it gave her the chance to met new people as they tried to book a spot.
‘‘There’s lots of creative people out there.’’
Each year event organisers tried to get in fresh new musical talent in to entertain, and this year will see local musicians, including Zoe Scott, Holly Kimber and The Drama Queens, perform throughout the day.
The event was held on a Thursday to encourage mums and daughters and friends to get together and attend the event.
‘‘Like a girl’s day out ... get a car load of girls, come down and enjoy the day.’’
Mackenzie was expecting about 2500 people to attend.
‘‘It’s a great day out for people, just to come and enjoy the live music.’’ The fete will run between 9.30am and 4pm on Thursday, November 2.
The fete will be held at Stover Farm, 220 Main North Rd, Geraldine.
Tickets are $15 per person, while children under the age of 15 can enter for free.
