DANCE LESSONS: The South Taranaki Partner Dance Community is starting its next six-week block latin and ballroom dance classes in Patea from October 27 to 3 December 3. The classes are held at the Patea Area School Hall, 26 Kent Street every Thursday at 6.30 7.30pm. They cost $46pp (non-profit rate) and no partners/dance experience required. MOVING EXPERIENCE: Aotea Utanganui Museum of South Taranaki has created an exhibition experience exploring the history of transporta­tion in the South Taranaki district over the last 120 years. This exhibition showcases heritage photograph­s, moving image materials, social history items and the future of transporta­tion. This exhibition tells the story of the changing face of transport and how this affected the work and social lives of our communitie­s. This exhibition experience has been funded by the Taranaki Regional Council (TRC). Season: until November - Aotea Utanganui Museum of South Taranaki, 127 Egmont St, Patea.
