DANCE LESSONS: The South Taranaki Partner Dance Community is starting its next six-week block latin and ballroom dance classes in Patea from October 27 to 3 December 3. The classes are held at the Patea Area School Hall, 26 Kent Street every Thursday at 6.30 7.30pm. They cost $46pp (non-profit rate) and no partners/dance experience required. MOVING EXPERIENCE: Aotea Utanganui Museum of South Taranaki has created an exhibition experience exploring the history of transportation in the South Taranaki district over the last 120 years. This exhibition showcases heritage photographs, moving image materials, social history items and the future of transportation. This exhibition tells the story of the changing face of transport and how this affected the work and social lives of our communities. This exhibition experience has been funded by the Taranaki Regional Council (TRC). Season: until November - Aotea Utanganui Museum of South Taranaki, 127 Egmont St, Patea.
