Hear the best of the best mu­si­cal theatre songs.

Hear The Peo­ple Sing is the first ma­jor pro­duc­tion of the Haw­era Memo­rial Theatre Trust.

This mu­si­cal theatre ex­trav­a­ganza will com­prise a se­lec­tion of mu­si­cal theatre songs and dance from the world’s great­est shows and will be pre­sented in con­cert with stage light­ing and re­in­forced sound fa­cil­i­ties.

The show fea­tures some of the great­est mu­si­cals of all time in­clud­ing Oliver! The Sound of Mu­sic, An­nie, Fid­dler on the Roof, Beauty and the Beast, Chicago, Cats, Joseph & the Amaz­ing Tech­ni­color Dream­coat, Cabaret, Phan­tom of the Opera, Chess, Miss Saigon, Evita and Les Mis­er­ables.

These favourites will be per­formed by a com­pany of tal­ented new and ex­pe­ri­enced leads in­clud­ing Barry Brett, Deb­o­rah Thomas, Lisa Pitcher, Mary Neale, Pa­trick McKenna, Shane Burgess, Tracey Blake and Bathsheba Turner, with child leads in­clud­ing Brenna John­son and Otis Cleaver. They will be sup­ported by an amaz­ing cho­rus of singers and dancers. All cast mem­bers orig­i­nate from Cen­tral and South Taranaki.

The show will be staged from Novem­ber 18-25 at the Haw­era Memo­rial Theatre.
