Collingwood elected

South Taranaki Star - - EGMONT A&P SHOW - NOV 17, 18 - JANE MATTHEWS

Roydon Collingwood has been elected as the new member of the Ha¯weraTangahoe Community Board (Ha¯wera-Normanby Subdivision) of the South Taranaki District Council, following a by-election that concluded at midday on Friday, November 3.

Collingwood was up against Raymond Buckland and Dee Cleaver and was the front runner by around 150 votes.

In the 25 years Collingwood has lived in South Taranaki he’s served two school boards and been heavily involved in property upgrades and policy changes. He has also been involved with the Southern Rugby Club for both sponsorship and team management. He has offered a positive can-do attitude and the ability to ask the hard questions while bringing business experience, maturity, honesty and forward-thinking that he thinks will benefit the community long term.
