Learn to Bowl
Interested in playing lawn bowls this summer?
Coach Russell Murphy will be available each Tuesday in November to teach new players the skills of bowling.
Sessions will run from 10am to 11am at the Tokoroa Bowling Club. Everyone is welcome.

Healthy Cooking on a budget
Want to attend the next sixweek block of Cook Smart classes?
Sessions for cooking healthy meals on a budget will be starting on October 20 from 1pm to 3pm at the Elim Church on Aotea Crescent in Tokoroa.
Classes are free and each session is followed by a delicious taste testing. Registration is essential so phone Pricey at the Sport Waikato office on 886 9002.
School holiday programmes
Sport Waikato will run school holiday programmes in Tirau and Arapuni over the coming two weeks of school holidays.
The Tirau programme is on each Tuesday and Thursday of the holiday break from 10am2noon at the Tirau Memorial Hall.
The Arapuni programme is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of the two-week holiday at the Arapuni Hall from 10am12noon. Cost per student is $2.
The South Waikato YMCA in Tokoroa is running activities each weekday from 9am till 12noon and then afternoon sessions from 1pm to 4pm.
Activities include table tennis, roller skating, a scavenger hunt in the Tokoroa CBD and a water safety day.

The indoor pools will have inflatables and other fun pool equipment available each weekday at the pools in Tokoroa.
Buckland Street Child Care will run a programme in Putaruru each weekday at the St John Hall on Overdale St.
