Stressing strong stance

KIA KAHA: Strath­more School’s room two was one of the classes to com­plete six-week Kia Kaha anti-bul­ly­ing and DARE pro­grammes.

Around 70 stu­dents from Strath­more School were in­volved.

Toko­roa Con­sta­ble Louise Sa­muel said DARE helps to teach young peo­ple about mak­ing pos­i­tive de­ci­sions. Kia Kaha (stand strong) is an anti-bul­ly­ing pro­gramme taught by po­lice ed­u­ca­tion of­fi­cers in part­ner­ship with teach­ers.
