Pi­lates names needed

Pi­lates classes will run in Toko­roa on Tues­days start­ing on Oc­to­ber 12 for level 1 and on Wed­nes­days start­ing Oc­to­ber 13 for level 2.

Classes at Toko­roa North School and run for seven weeks from 6pm to 7.30pm. Cost is $60 a per­son and $50 for re­peat par­tic­i­pants. Bring an ex­er­cise mat, wa­ter bot­tle and small towel.

Pi­lates ex­er­cise com­bines mind and body to pro­vide a safe and ef­fec­tive work­out for the en­tire body.

Fo­cus is on core sta­bil­ity en­abling max­i­mum body con­trol, flex­i­bil­ity and strength­en­ing.

It is a low im­pact class suit­able for most fit­ness lev­els. Class num­bers are limited. To reg­is­ter phone me at the Sport Waikato of­fice on 886 9002. School Hol­i­day Pro­grammes Pro­grammes con­tinue through­out the district these hol­i­days.

In Toko­roa, the South Waikato YMCA runs ac­tiv­i­ties each week­day from 9am till 4pm.

The indoor pools has in­flat­a­bles and equip­ment avail­able from noon.

Q-Masters is open from 10am till 7pm each day for 10 year olds and over. Cost is just $2 a per­son and ac­tiv­i­ties in­clude 8 and 9 ball, ta­ble ten­nis, board games and cards.

Sport Waikato con­tin­ues ac­tiv­i­ties in Ara­puni each Mon­day, Wed­nes­day and Fri­day at the Ara­puni Hall and in Ti­rau each Tues­day and Thurs­day at the Ti­rau Me­mo­rial Hall. Sport Waikato pro­grammes run from 10am till noon, $2 a per­son. Sports Awards Nom­i­na­tions Nom­i­na­tions for the South Waikato District Sports Awards close on Oc­to­ber 18.
