‘‘They don’t just have to sing. They can just play instruments and dance.

‘‘They can dress up in musical costumes. I don’t care what they do, it is all about participation.’’

Ms Fisher said the competition is dedicated to individuals with disabili-

Fishe’r – Marlene ties.

‘‘I have clients coming along who have no arms but they might tap an electric keyboard with their elbows.

‘‘They will be judged on their heart and soul. It is the fact that they want to participate and that people choose to listen,’’ she said.

‘‘I try to do it close to when Idol competitions are on because people get excited about the singers.’’
