Coach fi­nal­ists named

Con­grat­u­la­tions and good luck to the fol­low­ing coaches from the South Waikato cho­sen as fi­nal­ists in the SPARC Vol­un­teer Coach award for the Waikato re­gion.

Rita Kaea coaches net­ball and is in the life­time cat­e­gory, Shyann Gates is a stu­dent net­ball coach and in the gen­eral cat­e­gory are Joyce Daniels who coaches net­ball and Brian Ni­cholas, a rugby coach.

Con­grat­u­la­tions and good luck for the award cer­e­mony in Hamil­ton to­mor­row night, Thurs­day Novem­ber 4. Lawn bowls coach­ing Are you in­ter­ested in learn­ing how to play or to im­prove at lawn bowls?

Toko­roa Bowl­ing Club coach Rus­sell Mur­phy has of­fered coach­ing at Toko­roa Bowl­ing Club each Tues­day morn­ing dur­ing Novem­ber from 10am for those in­ter­ested in learn­ing more. Head to the club for some top coach­ing. District pools open­ing Sum­mer is re­ally here when we start think­ing about cool­ing down in wa­ter.

The pools through­out the South Waikato will open for the sea­son on Novem­ber 13 from noon. Fin­gers crossed that this beau­ti­ful weather con­tin­ues and raises the wa­ter tem­per­a­ture quickly.

Head to the Pu­taruru and Ti­rau pools on Novem­ber 13, when en­try will be free all day. Hash House Har­ri­ers Toko­roa Hash House Har­ri­ers are meet­ing at 6pm each Tues­day.

Next week, on Novem­ber 9, the group meets at Footies.

Head to the Rose­bery St meet­ing place and join the fun group for some so­cial walk­ing and run­ning.
