Kiwi Tag Competition
A junior Kiwi tag competition run by Pacific Rugby League Club each Wednesday has started in Tokoroa – catering for students from year 3 to secondary school age.
The competition runs for six weeks leading up to Christmas and will restart in the new year once school begins in 2011.
The season has begun but if you are keen to get a team into the competition give me a call at the Sport Waikato office on 886 9002. Spring Into Action This is the second week of activity in the Spring into Action challenge and participants are making good use of the organisations that have agreed to be part of the challenge. This week’s spot prize winner in the challenge is a draw between Daphne Johnson and last week’s winner Danielle Pethybridge who both did 11 activities throughout the week. Keep it up challengers. Russell Murphy from the Tokoroa Bowling Club has kindly offered his services free of charge to coach those interested.
Mr Murphy will be available each Tuesday morning from 10am throughout November at the clubrooms. This is a great opportunity to learn more about this fun and social activity. Hash House Harriers Tokoroa Hash House Harriers meets at 6pm, Tuesday, November 23 at Spirit’d bar on Leith Place for their weekly expedition.

Winners will be announced tonight and then forwarded for judging in the Waikato regional awards to be held on January 27. First Aid Course A first aid training course will be run at the Elim Church on Friday, December 10.
