Aca­demic suc­cess was fur­ther recog­nised at For­est View High School’s prize­giv­ing with its 2010 schol­ar­ship win­ners.

Award val­ues vary but all as­sist stu­dents in their stud­ies.

Toko­roa Churches Coun­cil Trust schol­ar­ships for stu­dents re­turn­ing to school have been awarded to Richard Ball, RikkiLee Cup­ples, Niria Rika and Mana Takuru.

Two Sir Ge­orge Sey­mour schol­ar­ships worth $ 500 each have been given to Mor­gan McMillan and Sjaan Sikking.

Chelsea Al­ley and Mor­gan Pourau have re­ceived a Carter Holt Har­vey Kin­leith fi­nal­ist schol­ar­ship for per­for­mance, in­no­va­tion and lead­er­ship.

ABB Tech­ni­cal schol­ar­ships worth $ 1000 and pre­sented to stu­dents mov­ing into ter­tiary study in the tech­ni­cal dis­ci­plines have been awarded to Thomas Dun­can and Fraser Flutey.

The Lois Dear Me­mo­rial schol­ar­ship for a for­mer stu­dent of Strath­more School go­ing on to ter­tiary ed­u­ca­tion has been given to Kelly Ni­cholas.

The Board of Trustees schol­ar­ship for all-round per­for­mance, par­tic­i­pa­tion and ad­her­ence to school val­ues, do­nated by Duyvestyn Drain­lay­ers, has been awarded to Avnish Goy­ani.

Emma Woodrow-Smith has re­ceived the John Searle Me­mo­rial schol­ar­ship for per­for­mance, in­no­va­tion and lead­er­ship.

Caitlin Whit­ford re­ceived the Ro­tary Club of Toko­roa 2010 Award for per­for­mance, in­no­va­tion, lead­er­ship and ad­her­ence the school val­ues and the Carter Holt Har­vey Kin­leith top schol­ar­ship for per­for­mance, in­no­va­tion and lead­er­ship.

The Ben O’Ke­effe bur­sary for an ex­cel­lent sportsper­son go­ing on to ter­tiary ed­u­ca­tion was awarded to Kelly Ni­cholas.
