In-car Facebook berated
Despite resistance from the US Transportation secretary Ray Lahood, GM is to proceed with its push to include an in-car Facebook application for its OnStar navigation and driver aid device in future products.
The function would allow drivers to listen to Facebook messages and update their status, which has engendered much criticism.
Meanwhile across town, Ford is looking at a Twitter interface for its cars. Just think, not only would you have something to do in traffic jams you’d be able to cause them in the first place.
