Three swim in to top places

A team of 13 swim­mers rep­re­sented Toko­roa Swim­ming Club at the club’s home meet.

First place fin­ishes were recorded by three swim­mers while a fur­ther four made it on to the podium.

Thea Keith-Matchitt, rac­ing in the mixed 16 years class, came first in the 50m and 100m freestyle events.

In the 14 years mixed class Danni Glassie-Ryan was first in the 50m freestyle and third in both the 200m back­stroke and 100m freestyle.

Cullen Glassie-Ryan, in the mixed 12 years races, won the 200m back­stroke and recorded two twelfth place fin­ishes and a thir­teenth.

Sean Mill­ward, in the mixed 10 years class was sec­ond in the 100m but­ter­fly and sev­enth in the 50m breast­stroke.

Tiana Hill, rac­ing in the mixed 13 years class fin­ished third in both the 200m back­stroke and 50m freestyle, fourth in both the 50m breast­stroke and 100m but­ter­fly and fifth in the 100m freestyle.

Brylie Telfer was third in the 50m breast­stroke and fifth in both the 50m freestyle and 100m freestyle rac­ing in the mixed 15 years events.

Shauna Glassie-Ryan was third in the 25m back­stroke for mixed nine year olds.
