There are numerous activities on throughout the South Waikato to ensure your children stay active over the summer school holiday break. Stay Active Christmas and the summer holidays are just around the corner and yes it really is a busy time of year. What we all need to remember though is that we need to stay active, especially as we tend to eat and drink just that little bit more at this time of year.

Take a stroll after dinner, before breakfast or in your lunch break.

Make use of our district’s walkways, play with the children, swim at one of the council pools or have a game of tennis, cricket, touch or softball.

Let’s stay active these holidays and not pay the penalty in the new year.
