Three Tokoroa Swimming Club members achieved outstanding results after the two-day Waikato Championships in Hamilton late last month.

Up against the very best in the Waikato, Rylie Neil, Shayden Taylor and Shaun Millward came home with medals and top placings among them.

All three swimmers recorded personal best times and had dis- cussions with some of the Waikato’s top coaches about how to go even faster.

Neil won silver in the 100m butterfly and finished fourth in the 200m individual medley, sixth in 50m butterfly and eighth in the 200m freestyle.

Millward won a bronze medal in the 200m individual medley.

Taylor recorded personal best times in five out of seven events.

Tokoroa Swimming Club members would like to thank those who assisted with the club last year: Maria Lagas, Yvonne Voss, Tracey Machitt-Keith and Chris Jolley.
