An author raised in Atiamuri has released a collection of poems.

Craig Angus Piercy now lives in America where he has published Titled Reflections of Life, a book he hopes will inspire readers.

Piercy never thought himself capable of writing poetry before first trying in 2004.

Since then he has penned more than 300 poems.

Reflections of Life is an anthology of poems about life, love and romance taken from personal experiences, observations, thoughts and feelings on an extremely important subject – living.

Piercy’s parents owned a shop in Atiamuri while he grew up.

He vividly remembers that while doing a paper run on his bike every morning before school, he dreamed and tried to imagine what he would be doing later in life.

Piercy is married to Lisa and has a daughter Guiliana.
