Tips to burn fat this summer
Want to lose fat this summer?
Create an energy deficit. To lose body fat we must make sure our energy in is less than our energy out.
The best way to do this is to eat fewer calories through good food choices. Combine this with burning extra calories through exercise and we see a deficit of energy in.
To shed fat, reduce fat. The best way to achieve this is to reduce your fat intake. Reduce your fat intake and you will automatically reduce your calorie intake.
Keep hitting the weights. Muscle tissue needs calories to be maintained, therefore the more muscle we have, the more calories we burn on a regular basis. This is especially important for women because as we age we start to lose our muscle mass.
Up the intensity. The fitter you are the more energy you can burn for the same amount of time. Make gradual increases in your intensity.
