This stage comedy for the adults only

South Waikato News - - ENTERTAINMENT -

The next production at the Tokoroa Little Theatre will be Stiff a New Zealand play by April Phillips.

This adult comedy, which opens in August, is a bit rude, cheeky and suggestive but it is also sidesplittingly funny and has great singing.

It features Angel Delight, a prostitute, who inherits a funeral parlour. Enlisting the help of fellow sex workers, Sherry, a prostitute; Roxanne, a dominatrix; and Delilah, a drag queen, they attempt to run the place as a massage parlour under the guise of it still being an undertakers.

The situations that arise are hilarious, the action is fast paced and the characters are larger than life.

Stiff is the first comedy featuring harmonised singing to be staged at the Little Theatre and will all be part of a must-see entertainment package.
