Toko­roa squash teams event

Toko­roa Squash Club will be host­ing E grade teams from clubs through­out New Zealand in the Na­tional E Grade Teams event from Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 14 to 18.

This is a huge event for the club with mem­bers work­ing from early morn­ing till late evening to en­sure the smooth run­ning of the tour­na­ment.

Go to the Toko­roa Squash Club through­out the event to watch teams in action and sup­port the club with this na­tional event. In­volve Start­ing this Fri­day with a street pa­rade at 11am from Toko­roa New World, the In­volve fes­ti­val is packed with ac­tiv­i­ties to en­joy. These in­clude kart­ing club champs, box­ing, heaps of ac­tiv­ity groups, wood ex­hi­bi­tions, school galas, mu­sic va­ri­ety events, cof­fee sam­pling, house build­ing, mar­tial arts, archery and more.

Join in some of the ac­tiv­i­ties and get in­volved in what’s hap­pen­ing in our com­mu­ni­ties. Pu­taruru Small Balls Tour­na­ment Pu­taruru pri­mary schools will be hold­ing the an­nual in­ter­school small balls event on Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 14 start­ing at 10am at Glen­shea Park. Se­nior stu­dents from pri­mary schools in Pu­taruru, Ti­rau and sur- round­ing coun­try schools will be at the event which fo­cuses on games us­ing small balls, to en­cour­age fine mo­tor skills, catch and throw, and hand-eye co-or­di­na­tion. Go to Glen­shea Park to sup­port the play­ers, teach­ers and vol­un­teers in­volved in this event. Glen­shea Park Glen­shea Park user groups are in­vited to a meet­ing to be held on Tues­day, Septem­ber 27 start­ing at 7pm at the Cen­tral North Is­land Kindergarten build­ing on Glen­shea St. Ideas on Glen­shea Park de­vel­op­ment will be dis­cussed and your feed­back is es­sen­tial.
