Tokoroa squash teams event
Tokoroa Squash Club will be hosting E grade teams from clubs throughout New Zealand in the National E Grade Teams event from Wednesday, September 14 to 18.
This is a huge event for the club with members working from early morning till late evening to ensure the smooth running of the tournament.
Go to the Tokoroa Squash Club throughout the event to watch teams in action and support the club with this national event. Involve Starting this Friday with a street parade at 11am from Tokoroa New World, the Involve festival is packed with activities to enjoy. These include karting club champs, boxing, heaps of activity groups, wood exhibitions, school galas, music variety events, coffee sampling, house building, martial arts, archery and more.
Join in some of the activities and get involved in what’s happening in our communities. Putaruru Small Balls Tournament Putaruru primary schools will be holding the annual interschool small balls event on Wednesday, September 14 starting at 10am at Glenshea Park. Senior students from primary schools in Putaruru, Tirau and sur- rounding country schools will be at the event which focuses on games using small balls, to encourage fine motor skills, catch and throw, and hand-eye co-ordination. Go to Glenshea Park to support the players, teachers and volunteers involved in this event. Glenshea Park Glenshea Park user groups are invited to a meeting to be held on Tuesday, September 27 starting at 7pm at the Central North Island Kindergarten building on Glenshea St. Ideas on Glenshea Park development will be discussed and your feedback is essential.
