Three Rugby World Cup matches are scheduled for Sunday, September 25.
Fans planning to watch the games could miss the kick-off if they forget to adjust their watches.
Fiji versus Samoa is at 3.30pm in Auckland, Ireland versus Russia at 6.00pm in Rotorua and Argentina versus Scotland at 8.30pm in Wellington.
The change to daylight saving is also an opportune time for residents to check their household emergency plans, survival kits and home smoke alarms.
