Racing the clock to load trolleys

South Waikato News - - ENTERTAINMENT -

Tokoroa resident Margaret Warena raced against the clock last Friday morning to gather as many grocery items as she could.

Ms Warena was the winner of a competition which required entrants to buy any product from the Wrigley range from July 4-31 and swipe their loyalty card in the transaction.

Ms Warena had three minutes to fill about six grocery carts as much as possible at Countdown Tokoroa and she could only include two of any one item. Health and beauty items could not exceed a total of $60.

She also had to avoid tobacco, alcohol, electronic goods, DVDs, any Lotto products, grocery vouchers, gift cards or phone cards.

The South Waikato News has video footage of Ms Warena racing around the supermarket which can be viewed on our Facebook page at http:/ /www.facebook.com/SouthWaikatoNews.
