Strath­more School stu­dent Abra­ham Tuakana-natua cel­e­brated his 11th birth­day in style.

Most peo­ple would say turn­ing 11 is not that big a deal but this West City Tigers’ fan turned 11 years old on 11.11.11.

Abra­ham who en­joyed a feast and a disco with close rel­a­tives and friends thought his birth­day was cool.

‘‘It’s pretty cool to turn 11 on this day,’’ he said.

His mother Ruth said they didn’t even re­alise the date un­til closer to the time.

‘‘We didn’t think about it un­til about a month ago? It’s a pretty spe­cial date for a real spe­cial boy,’’ she said.

Abra­ham was born on Novem­ber 11, 2000 at 11pm.

He is also one of 11 stu­dents in his class who are 11 years old.

The party theme was rugby league-in­spired with ev­ery­one wear­ing their fa­vorite league jer­seys.

The birth­day boy was even more over­joyed with his cake.

‘‘It’s a West City Tigers’ cake, it’s cool,’’ he said. ‘‘My fa­vorite player is Benji Mar­shall.’’

Abra­ham also had his 15 min­utes of fame ap­pear­ing on the Good Morn­ing show and also on One Net­work News for his spe­cial birth­day date.
