Rox­ette and Dragon on bill

Swedish pop duo Rox­ette will play at Auck­land’s Vec­tor Arena and will be sup­ported by New Zealand Mu­sic Hall of Fame in­ductees Dragon.

The con­cert will be held on Fe­bru­ary 11, 2012 in what prom­ises to be a huge night of hits. With 33 record-break­ing sin­gles, in­clud­ing The Look, It Must Have Been Love, Joyride, Lis­ten to Your Heart, Dan­ger­ous, Sleep­ing In My Car and Dressed For Suc­cess, record sales over 75 mil­lion and more num­ber one and top 10 hits in Amer­ica than ABBA, Marie Fredriks­son and Per Gessle’s Rox­ette are one of the most com­mer­cially suc­cess­ful groups to come out of Swe­den.

Kiwi icons Dragon are re­spon­si­ble for cre­at­ing some of this coun­try’s most fa­mous rock an­thems such as April Sun In Cuba, Are You Old Enough and Still In Love With You.

The group formed in Auck­land in 1972 and went on to re­lease nine New Zealand al­bums and sell more than two mil­lion records.
